Description

Introduce the basic economic factors and opportunities associated with self-employment. Study entrepreneur ideas and devise a business plan for it. Analyze their selected business’s customers, competitors, and industry. Students will also be able to make use of financial documents utilized in a business.
Objectives:
• Understand basic economic concepts related to business ownership.
• Identify and assess entrepreneurial traits.
• Explore entrepreneurial opportunities.
• Students will analyze their market’s customers and competitors to the industry.
• Plan the organizational structure for their selected business.
• Project cash flow for a business and interpret an income statement.
