Description
This course is a real world hands-on approach to learning advanced hydraulic principles, hydraulic repair and hydraulic circuitry. During this class you will use Automation Studio, an online simulation software to create hydraulic circuitry. You will also create advanced hydraulic circuits using our hands on trainers. A large portion of this class will be dedicated to repair techniques used in the hydraulic industry. As part of this class you will tear apart a hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic motor, hydraulic gear pump and a hydraulic piston pump in doing so you will be able to see how these important hydraulic components function. Prerequisite: AMAR 1400 Fluid Power Hydraulics
Objectives:
? Create simulated hydraulic circuitry.
? Identify different types of cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
? Tear down and rebuild different hydraulic components.
? Build advanced hydraulic circuitry on hydraulic trainer.
? Design and calculate simple hydraulic circuitry.
