Description
A course or courses providing competencies that meet an immediate occupational need beyond the skills available in the program's currently approved outline. The need, competencies, and length have been specified and documented by the campus' employer advisory committee. Each course will carry a title on the transcript descriptive of the competencies addressed. A campus may advise students to use a Special Applications course as a program elective to meet current industry needs. Special Applications course(s) may not exceed 180 hours total per certificate.
