Description

This course will teach a basic overview of current drone technology and the terminology used in the industry. Students will learn about diverse types of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's), and the uses and limitations of each type. Aerodynamics and basic principles of flight covered. Students will use a computer simulator to learn the basic flight controls and to learn how a drone reacts to pilot inputs. Hands-on flight training with a small drone will teach students how to take-off, hover, and fly basic maneuvers. Students will practice line of sight (LOS) and first person view (FPV) flying.

• Learn about drone technology and architecture.
• Learn safety precautions and regulations for drone use.
• Learn Aerodynamics of drone flight
• Learn applications for drones
• Master skills to control and pilot DRONEs.
• Learn about FPV (First Person Video) and how to use it.
