Description

This course will introduce and reinforce basic English grammar, punctuation skills, proper word usage, and writing techniques that will promote effective and well-organized patient care report narratives that are completed by emergency personnel.
Objectives:
• Understand parts of speech and basic sentence structure.
• Demonstrate the ability to proofread and apply analytical reading skills.
• Utilize proper capitalization rules and other grammatical functions.
• Apply correct punctuation in written narratives.
• Demonstrate mastery of commonly misused words.
• Develop clear and concise patient care report narratives based upon case study materials.
