Description
This course allows students to develop a broader understanding of information technology and determine if a career in this field is right for them. It covers all areas, establishing a framework for potential students. Students must complete all components of this course at 80% or better to be eligible to enroll in Information Technology program.
Objectives:
• Understand the functions and types of devices used within a computer system.
• Apply basic computer maintenance and support principles.
• Identify security issues affecting the use of computers and networks.
