Description

This course teaches students to be aware of network attack strategies and common countermeasures. It prepares students to use various penetration testing tools to analyze networks for vulnerabilities. Knowledge of these vulnerabilities also helps students to understand how to counter these vulnerabilities and improve network security. This course covers the objectives of the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
Objectives:
• Define the legality of ethical hacking and its place in security
• Identify and defend against social engineering attempts
• Identify how Trojans, Backdoors, Viruses and Worms are used in both legal and illegal ways
• Filter and Analyze network traffic with Wireshark
• Perform an SQL injection attack
