Description

A course designed to teach practical problems in mathematics for graphic communications. The course will cover topics such as: basic math, measurement, graphs and charts, ratio and proportion, mathematical calculation of page layouts, calculating material costs, and other applied math skills relating to design.
Objectives:
• Demonstrate mastery of basic arithmetic
• Solve problems calculating supply costs
• Solve problems calculating computer page layouts
• Solve problems calculating common graphic communication business costs
• Apply math skills to solve design problems
