Description

This course is a real world hands-on approach to learning advanced pneumatic principles, pneumatic repair and pneumatic circuitry. During this class you will use Automation Studio, an online simulation software to create pneumatic circuitry. You will also create advanced pneumatic circuits using our hands on trainers. A large portion of this class will be dedicated to repair techniques used in the pneumatic industry. As part of this class, you will tear apart a pneumatic cylinder, pneumatic motor, a small compressor and other pneumatic control devices. You will also learn how to calculate and design a small pneumatic circuit. Prerequisite: AMAR 1440 Fluid Power Pneumatics
Objectives:
• Create simulated pneumatic circuitry.
• Identify different types of pneumatic components.
• Tear down and rebuild different pneumatic components.
• Build advanced pneumatic circuitry on a pneumatic trainer.
• Design and calculate simple pneumatic circuitry.
