Description

This course is a real world hands-on approach to learning advanced fluid power principles, repairs and circuitry. During this class you will use Automation Studio, an online simulation software to create fluid power circuitry. You will also create advanced fluid power circuits using our hands on trainers. A large portion of this class will be dedicated to repair techniques used in the pneumatic and hydraulic industries. As part of this class, you will tear apart a pneumatic cylinder, pneumatic motor, a small compressor and other pneumatic control devices. You will learn how to calculate and design a small pneumatic circuit. You will tear apart a hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic motor, hydraulic gear pump, and a hydraulic piston pump. In doing so you will be able to see how these important hydraulic components function. Prerequisites: AMAR 1400 Fluid Power Hydraulics and AMAR 1440 Fluid Power Pneumatics.
Objectives:
• Create simulated pneumatic and hydraulic circuitry.
• Identify diffe
