Description

The purpose of this course is to teach basic blue print reading, recognize symbols, and terms used in engineering drawings. An understanding of multiview drawings, section views, dimension and tolerances, and part feature specifications will be learned.
Objectives:
• Recognize and identify common symbols and terms found on engineering drawings
• Understand and identify multiviews
• Understand and be able to identify a section view
• Explain and identify dimension and tolerances
• Gain an understanding of part features and their specifications
