Description
This course gives students the opportunity to apply knowledge and techniques learned in the classroom to an actual job experience. Classroom instruction must precede the job experience, or the student must be enrolled in the program at the same time as the work experience.
Objectives:
• To provide students with opportunity to develop and apply a ‘real-world’ work experience using the knowledge and skills they attained in their program of study.
• To provide the institutions with objective input from potential employers or customers of program graduates.
• Demonstrate and apply drafting or media design concepts in a work-based environment.
• Work within the standards of the drafting or media design industry.
• Operates with competency industry standard CAD or Media Design software.
