Description
This course is a comprehensive computer-based training program based on ASME Y14.5 – 1994. It teaches the fundamentals of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. It includes 28 lessons covering the basic rules, definitions, and concepts of GD&T. The course includes quizzes and a final test. This version of the classic training software adds features that make training more interactive, and more professional.
Objectives:
• Apply knowledge of GD&T symbols to solve problems of linear tolerances
• Apply knowledge of GD&T symbols to solve tolerance problems of feature form, profile, and function
• Apply knowledge of GD&T symbols to solve problems of location and positional tolerances
• Apply GD&T to interpret MMC, LMC, and RFS
• Apply GD&T to determine tolerances of form and location
• Apply GD&T to positional tolerances
• Demonstrate application of datum’s
• Apply GD&T concepts for tolerancing assemblies
