Description
This course is a basic class designed to teach fundamental techniques and principles for taking, editing storing and presenting digital images. The class will focus on camera use, composition, and design principles, but will also cover basic editing practices and online presentation of photos.
Objectives:
• Obtain an understanding of basic elements and operations of a digital camera
• Demonstrate the use of proper framing, lighting, and composition in photographs
• Produce themed photographs using a digital camera
• Utilize basic editing and touchup techniques on photographs
• Display finished photography in an online portfolio
